Thanks to everyone who kept us in your prayers. Brandon was released from the hospital Saturday in time to be home for lunch. Grant was so happy to see him after not seeing him since Tuesday. He is still home from work but getting around much better than this time last week.
On another note, Parker started swimming lessons last night. She has never been afraid of the water but 2 weeks ago when we went swimming, she was completely freaked out. On Memorial Day weekend she is floating all over the place and we were not even in the water. We wondered if she was ready or if we were wasting time and money. I am happy to report she did great, even went off the diving board at the end of class. She can't wait until tonight when she gets to practice again. She is not swimming yet but is floating and more comfortable in the water. Yeah!

Great to hear Brandon is home. Yippie! I hope he is 100% better very soon. Glad he was home for Fathers Day.
OK, so I see you wrote about Parker and swimming. Madeline was ok with the water last year, but hated it in her face and would just about cry if someone splashed her or water touched it. I put her in swim lessons at the Y in Feb. and she wouldn't do much, scared to try even going under, freaked out when the teacher would put her on her back.
So the last 2 weeks we have spent our weekends in the pool. Let me tell you it was not my girl. She is now jumping in, her head going under, and getting her full head wet. I didnt say a thing and she just started doing it. She can't swim on her own yet but wears a float or swimmies and rwally moves her arms and legs as if she was. So I guess it's when they are ready. I just couldnt believe my eyes how all of a sudden she is comfortable now. Those weird 5 year olds!
